Now that the weeks of language learning and afternoon activities are over our days on the farm will be quite different. We have loved having everyone here. The cacophony of children laughing, shouting and singing in our old stable block may be finished for another year but the memories will keep us going till the next time. We will remember the smiles and faces of all our students who arrived each week to learn and have fun.
Our passion is to teach children/young adults another language focusing on the oral production. All our students embraced the sounds, nuances and intonation of the new language. We all learn our mother tongue before we learn to read or pick up a pencil and it is this concept that lies at the heart of how we approach our language teaching. We use blocks of words, phrases and sentences to build upon to create little conversations that then lead to bigger ones.
