Why we love Autumn.
The days become shorter and the weather colder but the magic of autumnal colours and the smell of wood burning in an open fire make the transition from summer to winter so much easier.
The new term begins and routines are once again established. Children move on through the years at school their curious minds being exposed to new things. After school some parents and children choose physical pursuits, others cultural ones and some seek out a mix of both to compliment the school curriculum. Children come to Harristown to learn French and practice yoga. They are so open to this new language and culture and through games, songs and play they totally embrace it. We like to see the children progress and thrive. Learning a new language takes time but can be a lot of fun. Spring is known as season of regrowth and new beginnings in nature. In scholastic terms that has to be autumn. Autumn the season to be grateful for the harvest, we are grateful for our students who bring us great joy.
